A strong hurricane passed in Tuva

In the Ulugh-Khem district of Tuva, the hurricane damaged the roofs of houses, cars, cut power lines, and felled trees, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic reported.

The report says that the wind reached 38 meters per second. There is no information about the victims.

The head of the republic Vladislav Khovalyg on his village in “VKontakte” reported on the increased readiness of the emergency services of Tuva. He instructed local administrations to start repairing the damaged structures, roofs, and cleaning up fallen trees.

It is worth noting that unfavorable weather conditions will continue in the region on Sunday. Heavy precipitation in the form of rain and hail, thunderstorms and north-westerly winds of up to 25-30 meters per second are expected there.

Earlier it was reported about the hurricane “Tauktae”, which hit the west coast of India.

Meanwhile, Japanese scientists conducted a study and found out the reason for the frequent oceanic hurricanes that reach land over the past 50 years. According to experts, this may be due to global warming.
