A Syrian serviceman was wounded as a result of a mortar attack in the province of Aleppo, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
This was stated by Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Strategic Military Forces in Syria, during a briefing on Tuesday.
According to him, the soldier was wounded by mortar shelling of the positions of government troops in the area of the village of Bala.
Kulit also noted that over the past day, 28 attacks were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone from the positions of the terrorist group Jabhat Al-Nusra (banned in the Russian Federation).
Recall that on September 9, a Russian serviceman was killed when an armored vehicle was blown up on the road in the Syrian province of Homs.
