Since July 1 of this year, almost 212 thousand Russians have undergone in-depth medical examination, 84% of them have had coronavirus and have chronic diseases.
According to the results of the survey, 58.2% of citizens are subject to medical supervision, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova at a meeting of President Vladimir Putin with the Cabinet of Ministers.
Golikova called the unfavorable epidemiological situation in several regions the reason for the not very large number of people who underwent medical examination.
She noted that as soon as the situation there improves, in-depth medical examination will be resumed, TASS reports.
In-depth medical examination is intended primarily for those who have had covid, but all citizens can pass it. It was expected that 8.5 million people would undergo such a survey.
