American intelligence services believe that the terrorist group “Al-Qaeda” * currently does not have the ability to carry out attacks on the United States, TASS reports.
This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a hearing in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
According to him, the terrorist group has long been seriously weakened and is not able to carry out external attacks.
Blinken also added that the Taliban movement in Afghanistan should also remember what happened last time when it provided shelter to Al-Qaeda.
Earlier, the Secretary of State also said that the United States intends to organize new export flights from Afghanistan for Americans and those who have cooperated with the United States.
