Veterinarian gave advice to pet owners in the heat

In hot weather, you need to take care of your pets to eliminate the risk of overheating. This was stated by Mikhail Shelyakov, a veterinarian of the highest qualification category, in an interview with “Moscow 24”.

He noted that in the heat, you can not even leave the animals in the car for a short time, because the temperature in the cabin will quickly rise and there will be nothing to breathe.

“And if you are in the sun, then there is literally three minutes enough. This can really be fatal for the pet, ” the specialist said.

In addition, there is a danger of overheating at home, so leaving your pet alone, you need to create comfortable conditions for it – provide an influx of fresh air and unlimited water.

Shelyakov also recommended adjusting the walking time so that the walks take place during the period when the sun is less aggressive. You should take a supply of water with you, and it is better to give up the muzzle if possible.

If there are signs of overheating, it is necessary to take the animal to the shade. You can also wet the dog’s forehead and armpits.

Earlier it was reported that on June 22, the temperature record of 1917 was broken in Moscow.

Scientists have created a nanotrap for the coronavirus

Employees of the American University of North Carolina were able to neutralize the coronavirus with the help of special nanotraps, according to Phys.org.

The scientists simulated the particles of the cell envelope to which the COVID pathogen is attached. The virus reacts to false nano-targets and does not affect real cells, which helps slow its spread in the body.

First, this method of treatment was tested on rodents, and then on primates. Nanotraps were delivered to the animals ‘ bodies using inhalers. During the experiments, it was found that LSC baits reduced inflammation and fibrosis in the lungs, as well as accelerated the process of removing the virus from the body. So far, the timing of the trial of the revolutionary method of treatment in humans is not reported.

American scientists recently said that a virus that causes colds can protect a person from the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, a team of researchers from King’s College London reported new symptoms of COVID.

The United States began to install missile defense systems in Poland

The United States has begun installing Aegis Ashore missile defense systems at the Polish base of Redzikovo, RIA Novosti reports, citing a statement from the American Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

They noted that they were recently able to achieve the ” critical stages of installing the Aegis weapon system at their facility in Redzikowo in Poland.”

In 2002, the United States withdrew from the anti-missile defense treaty with the Russian Federation, stating the need to develop a global missile defense system to protect Iran and North Korea. In the same year, Washington and Moscow agreed on measures to “strengthen confidence and increase transparency in the field of missile defense”.

However, after that, the United States began to deploy its missile defense system in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Currently, elements of the US missile defense system are located in the continental United States, in Poland and Romania, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region. Naval means of intercepting ballistic missiles (destroyers with anti-missiles) are deployed near the coast of the Russian Federation and China. Moscow and Beijing have consistently opposed the deployment of the US missile defense system, calling it a threat to their national security.

Earlier, the media reported on the US plans to withdraw some weapons from a number of Middle Eastern countries. In particular, Washington intends to relocate eight Patriot SAM batteries from Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Memory of Brest. The action “Garden of Memory” ends in the legendary fortress

The action “Garden of Memory” was held in Brest. Trees were planted here in memory of the defenders of the legendary hero fortress. This is how the international project ends. One of the final events on the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Mourning united volunteers of the two countries, descendants of marshals and defenders of the fortress, representatives of the authorities, celebrities, organizers and partners of the action.

The action of the same name took place thanks to the corresponding agreement of the Presidents of Russia and Belarus, reached a year ago at the opening of the Rzhev memorial to the Soviet Soldier. Fifty seedlings of spruce and pine were planted on the territory adjacent to the memorial complex itself.

“It is very important that Russia and Belarus unite their efforts in an effort to preserve the memory of the heroes. Last year, we made a proposal to plant trees in memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War in Belarus. And today, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the war, the Garden of Memory appeared in Brest, a city that was one of the first to be attacked by the enemy. Residents are present hereThe Republic, representatives of the concerned Russian youth. This is the only way to honor our common memory and common history together, ” commented Olga Amelchenkova, head of the Victory Volunteers, who led the delegation from Russia. The head of the movement also took the initiative to complete the action “Garden of Memory” in Brest every year.

The guest of honor of the campaign was Ariadne Rokossovskaya, great-granddaughter of Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky, who conducted the operation to liberate Belarus in the summer of 1944. “It is a great honor for me to perform here in Brest, on this land watered with the blood of our common ancestors. I recall that Sergey Smirnov, the author of the amazing book “Brest Fortress”, which in many ways revealed to the world the feat of the defenders of the Brest Fortress, wrote that in 1961 the surviving defenders of the fortress planted the alley of memory. They planted named trees. He wrote that decades will pass and there will no longer be these veterans, defenders of the Brest Fortress, but there will be children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren who will celebrate the Victory and also plant trees.trees. I am very glad that we, the descendants of the generals, together with the descendants of ordinary soldiers, partisans, home front workers, military and civilian doctors, all those who brought the Victory over fascism closer, are planting trees today in memory of them, our heroes, our ancestors, and in everyday life we will keep the memory of them, ” Ariadna Rokossovskaya said on behalf of the co-organizers of the campaign of the Victory Generals Memorial Fund.

A 100-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a native of Belarus, Abram Mirkin, also arrived in Brest from the Orel region on the Victory Train . In memory of my father, a member of the defense of the Brest fortress, political instructor Ilya Semochkin the tree was also planted by the chairman of the Brest regional organization of the Belarusian Association of Former Minor Prisoners of Fascism, a veteran of the Armed Forces, who was captured and shot by the Nazis on June 24, 1941Vladimir Semochkin.

The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Brest spoke about the importance of the event Igor Konyakin and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, member of the Council of the Republic Dmitry Voronyuk. “Today we are in Brest, the city of historical memory, which embodies the feat of all Soviet soldiers-soldiers of the Red Army. We are all here together: the BRSM, the Russian Youth Union, the Victory Volunteers. It is symbolic that this patriotic project ends near the Brest Fortress. This is very important and honorable for us, ” said the First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee.

At home, in Belarus, the popular singer took part in the actionNatalia Podolskaya, which supports the “Garden of Memory” since the first year of the event. She also planted a tree, dedicated it to her two grandfathers, and performed an excerpt of a song from the Great Patriotic War on the twenty-second of June, at exactly four o’clock. The singer’s family traditionally participates in all formats of the campaign: previously, they planted lilacs in support of # SadPamyatIdom and painted a Garden of Memory dedicated to her great-grandfather with her eldest son.

The organizing Committee of the action together with the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation By Sergey Andriaka out of 4,500 works, he chose the best drawing in the competition “Garden of Memory through the eyes of children”. The contest was supported by the general partner of the campaign, the Russian Copper Company, thanks to which its winner, a nine-year-old Masha Boyarko from the Belgorod region, my family was also able to participate in the action at the Brest Fortress. Now a real tree, not a painted one, Masha dedicated to her great-grandfather, who died in Poland in 1945. In the drawing, he is in the image of a guardian angel, the protector of the family.

Today, the trees were planted by Sbera volunteers as part of a large international team. This year, corporate social activists made a particularly significant contribution to the campaign, which was also noted earlier by the organizers.

The international campaign “Garden of Memory”, covering 85 regions of Russia and more than 50 countries, ends on June 22. On the Day of Remembrance and Mourning, the last landings of 2021 will take place in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Nizhny Novgorod, Kamchatka Territory, etc. One of the central events in Russia took place in the Kirov region, where the first post-war Memorial Garden, laid out by a veteran, was restored in the abandoned village of Solovyi, as well as in the Novgorod region.
