Exits, parking lots and low-floor transport. It is convenient for everyone to move around

Plot National projects

It is necessary to move around the city not only for healthy and capable people, but also for people with limited mobility. What is being done in the country to make our cities convenient and accessible for them? And how does the national project help in this?

Ignatov Brothers Street in Perm on the section from Mira Street to Cosmonauts Highway was reconstructed. And & nbsp;at the same time, they did not just bring the regulatory state to the standard, but also created conditions for people with disabilities to move comfortably. This is very important here, because the street passes through the Hospital Town-this is the name of the microdistrict where the buildings of the city clinical hospital named after M. A. Tverye, the maternity hospital and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Moscow State Medical University are located. Academician E. A. Wagner.

Now parking spaces for people with limited mobility are equipped along the roadway, and curbs are lowered in the area of exits from sidewalks. Tactile tiles are laid on pedestrian crossings so that visually impaired people can determine the beginning of movement along the roadway and its completion.

In Lipetsk after repair according to the national project of one of the main city

The entire appearance of Zegel Street has changed from the roundabout with Plekhanov Square to Heroes Square. Fresh asphalt and new curbs, neat pedestrian zones and bike paths for the first time. Special attention is paid to the convenience of low-mobility citizens.

Two of them, Roman Bobylev and& nbsp;Ekaterina Zvereva, tested the innovations first. They liked the exits at the crossings and ramps near the parking areas in the area of houses No. 23a and 30, and also parking spaces for people like them. After their approval, the work was accepted by the acceptance commission.

“The allocated places are located in the center of the street, you can park your car here and get to any house or store ―” Ekaterina Zvereva explained. — And with roadways made entrances to the sidewalk, it is very convenient & raquo;.

In Novokuznetsk, curbs are lowered at pedestrian crossings, and the first traffic light in the city, where you can call the green light, has started working at the PBX stop along Aviatorov Avenue. When it is lit, an audible alarm is also activated. Tactile tiles were laid on the approaches to the pedestrian crossing where the traffic light is installed.

The chairman of the Novokuznetsk organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind, Stanislav Kushch, is glad of the innovations and hopes that the improvement of the city in this direction will continue.

“If we compare it with what it was 10 years ago, of course, it’s getting better,” he says.

Low floor and comfortable handrails

The national project “Safe and high-quality highways” includes the federal project “Modernization of passenger transport in urban agglomerations”. According to him, the city received 387 low-floor buses, trolleybuses and trams from 412 planned for this year. In addition to the adjustable height of the floor level, they have a folding ramp, a place and means for attaching a wheelchair, and also an external driver call button.

In Izhevsk, for example, new trams are operating on the tenth route, the longest and busiest. Since their release, the number of flights has increased by 45 per day. Then & nbsp;there are now passengers for a long time at & nbsp; stops do not & nbsp; stand.

« We with & nbsp;daughter almost every day we go on the tenth route to an inclusive kitchen, & nbsp; & mdash; shared the mother of a child with cerebral palsy Elena Mokhova. Of course, I really like the new trams. At the entrance, the floor is lowered for us, the handrails on both sides are also comfortable. I would like to say a special thank you to all the drivers and conductors. They always help us, waiting for us if we are delayed at the entrance.

The road workers of Udmurtia have established a dialogue with the regional organizations of the All-Russian Society of the Blind and the public organization “Good”.

«Last year, we & nbsp; appealed to the head of Udmurtia with a request to include us in the road commissions, & nbsp; & mdash; told Deputy Chairman of the public organization of wheelchair users„Benefit & ldquo; Sergey Merkuryev. It was important for us that the urban environment for wheelchair users became more accessible. And they heard us. At all the objects of the national project in Izhevsk, we showed in practice whether a wheelchair user can overcome the slope of the sidewalk or move over a curb stone.

In the whole country, within the framework of the national project, “Safe and high-quality highways” last year, more than 1.3 thousand objects providing unhindered movement of people with limited mobility led to a regulatory state. This year, another 1.6 thousand will be added to them. About 400 objects have already been put into operation.
