It turned out that the Russian drug neutralized the omicron strain in 74.2% of cases, and the Pfizer vaccine in 56.9%. The researchers believe that the “Satellite” gives a stronger immune response due to a wider range of virus neutralizing antibodies and a better imitation of infection by the adenovirus platform.
The Gamalei Center also noted the high effectiveness of the drug “Sputnik Light” against “omicron” when used as a booster vaccine.
