In the Angara forests, an emergency mode was introduced due to fires

The emergency mode was introduced due to the danger of fires in the forest territories of the Katanga and Ust-Kut districts of the Irkutsk region, the press service of the regional government informed on June 6.

For the past 24 hours in the forests of the region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations liquidated 11 fires on 318.5 hectares. On Sunday morning, five fires on an area of about 3.9 thousand hectares remained undisturbed.

In total, 127 fires were registered in the forests of the Angara region since the beginning of the warm season, the fire covered an area of 10.4 hectares.

Earlier it was reported that in the Tyumen region for a day there were eight wildfires. According to the regional operational headquarters, this year the largest fires in the last ten years have been recorded there, in connection with which the emergency mode has also been in effect since May 11.
