Due to complaints about the air noise of residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, the take-off and landing schemes of aircraft were changed at Sheremetyevo Airport.
A few months ago, all the media wrote about the problem of residents of the districts of Mitino, Khimki, Tushino, and also Krasnogorsk and Solnechno Gorsk. It became known about it in September 2019, when a third runway was opened in Sheremetyevo, and in December 2020, the airport introduced new routes that began to run over densely populated areas. About the endless roar of engines, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region wrote to all instances of the Russian Aviation, Rostransnadzor, the State Duma, and also President Putin.
The Federal Air Transport Agency has adjusted the routes of aircraft to Sheremetyevo: since September 9, the departure and landing approaches have become more convenient and more cost-effective, and the noise level has decreased for local residents.
