North Korea launched two missiles towards the Sea of Japan

The DPRK launched an unknown projectile towards the Sea of Japan, the Yonhap news agency reports, referring to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea.

According to the agency, this is the fifth weapons test of the DPRK this year. The Kyodo agency believes that the projectile could be a ballistic missile.

Soon, the Japanese Maritime Security Administration reported on the second launch of a missile from the territory of North Korea. It is specified that the first launch occurred at 06.38 Moscow time, the second-in five minutes. The place of the fall of the projectile is currently unknown.

Earlier, the Pentagon commented on reports of new missile launches by the DPRK. North Korea successfully tested a new long-range cruise missile on September 11 and 12.
