The first female fighter pilots will appear in the Air and Space Forces of the Russian Federation

The first female fighter pilots will appear in the Russian Aerospace Forces in two years, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports.

“We train all the girls in the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots (KWAAUL) for combat aviation,” said Deputy Head of the Department Nikolai Pankov after visiting the Orenburg Presidential Cadet School.

He clarified that most of the girls will serve in the military transport aviation, but a few people are preparing for fighter and assault aviation.

Pankov stressed that the female cadets perform the training program for military pilots in full. According to him, they fly and make skydiving “without any indulgences”. The first pilots have already completed the fourth year.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu during a visit to the plant “Dagdiesel” offered the company’s management to employ the wives of military personnel.

Rospotrebnadzor reported on the absence of radiation hazards in St. Petersburg

The radiation background and radiation safety indicators in St. Petersburg correspond to the average long-term values, the press service of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor reported.

The ministry noted that the analysis of these indicators is carried out in normal mode and does not record the risks of radiation pollution in the city, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, the media reported on the risk of radiation incidents on the territory of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “RSC Applied Chemistry” in the village of Kuzmolovo, Leningrad Region.

In this village, the regional authorities have introduced a high-alert mode in connection with the transfer from one department to another of an object that has a potential radiation hazard.

During the privatization of the property belonging to the plant “Applied Chemistry”, the warehouse with production materials with a radioactive trace was not included in the list of objects for transfer to the property.

Applied Chemistry produces, among other things, fluoropolymer films, radiation monitoring detectors, and solid oxygen sources.

Alexander Nevsky. History? Modernity? No-history for the future

On June 8, Moscow hosts the International Forum ” History for the Future.” Alexander Nevsky, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of one of the most recognizable princes of Ancient Russia.

The event was organized by the Russian Military Historical Society, the Russian Cultural Foundation and the State Historical Museum, one of the buildings of which, the Museum of the Patriotic War of 1812, hosted the participants and guests of the forum.

The forum simultaneously operates three platforms, providing thematic panel discussions, allowing you to get acquainted with the main qualities of such a historical figure as in the fullest possible approximationAlexander Nevsky. About how the image of the prince has transformed in our minds over the centuries, and what additional meanings his actions have acquired, conversations are held on the site “The Image of Alexander Nevsky in Culture”. On the site of «Alexander Nevsky & ndash; warrior and saint: From the holy defenders of the Russian land to the military clergy in modern Russia, not only the history of the prince’s military achievements is discussed, but also a wider range of issues. In particular, the talks touched on such an important point as the interaction of the church and the army. Is known, that Alexander Nevsky himself attached great importance to maintaining good relations with the church hierarchs. The discussion platform “Alexander Nevsky as the patron of Russian diplomacy” is intended to remind that the prince himself was an outstanding diplomat who managed to curb the claims of Europe not only by force of arms, but also by force of speech. And who, by purely diplomatic measures, was able to achieve for Russia a privileged and relatively calm position among other countries and states enslaved or destroyed by the Mongols.

Some points, however, were discussed earlier, at the plenary session. Thus, Scientific director of the Institute of Universal History, Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the National Committee of Historians, Academician Alexander Chubaryan I would like to note the continuity between the actions of the prince in those difficult and contradictory times and the actions of his descendants who later became the head of state: “I would like to say that his figure, and indeed the XIII century of Russian history, have long been the focus of historical science not only in our country, but also around the world. For example, a new book aboutThe Golden Horde, which gives a new look at this state. From my point of view, somewhat exaggerating the civilizational priority of the Horde, which, however, is quite understandable. The figure of the Russian prince is given special attention there, which is also quite understandable-Alexander Nevsky can in many ways be called the key, without understanding the activities of which it is impossible to understand that era at all.

His merit was that he could take into account and took into account the foreign policy circumstances, the challenges that Russia then faced. In this struggle, he managed to preserve the state structures of Russia, its culture, people, and to defend the independence of the Church.

But the challenge of that time did not come only from the east. In Europe, the Roman Catholic See was beginning to struggle with the newly emerging nation-states. Nevsky was at the forefront of this struggle, too. He stopped the progress of the papacy, becoming one of the first sovereigns to set a course for the creation of a national independent state.

His figure reflected all the contradictions of that era-it is not for nothing that fierce discussions have been held around the actions of the prince for centuries. I see an organic connection between the activities of Nevsky and the subsequent development of Russia and Russia. This continuity must continue.”

Senator Alexey Pushkov in his speech, he stressed the relevance of the image of Alexander for Russia in the modern world, which, like the XIII century, challenges national identity and offers to change it for the sake of some momentary material benefits: “Our conversation today turned to a discussion of historical problems, which is certainly necessary. But I would like to modernize it. Why are we talking about Alexander Nevsky now? It’s not just that the topic of patriotism has now come to the fore. The significance of Alexander Nevsky as a symbol of Russian statehood is broader.

Today’s Russia, whose foundations were laid by Alexander Nevsky, historically developed as a state that moved from a state of dependence to an absolutely independent state, eventually becoming one of the leading world powers. This is the natural way. The same path was followed by, say, the United States, turning from a colony into a superpower. Or China, which has turned from an empire into a semi-colony, having experienced the real yoke of the European powers. But it managed to find the strength to overcome its dependence on the West and established itself as one of the leading powers of the modern world.

Alexander Nevsky, who began the construction of an independent state and passed this baton to his successors, who achieved their goal, deservedly became our symbol. And here it is worth paying attention to the serious differences in terms of symbols in our country and in the West. Remember the events in the United States, where monuments, including those symbolizing the independence of the state, began to be destroyed. We are the samewe put up monuments. If this moment seems superficial to someone, it is in vain. This is a battle between two trends. The trend of globalization, which involves either a complete rejection of history, or its reinterpretation in favor of some new ideological foundations. And a trend that defends the preservation of national identity as one of the important foundations for the preservation of state sovereignty.

The course of destroying the real history, of replacing it, has been taken in the West. It is held firmly. Moreover, a similar course will be offered to us. Yes, what is there & laquo;will be & raquo; – already proposed. Therefore, you should understand that you need your own strategy, your own course. And here we must inevitably turn to the personality of Alexander Nevsky.

Alexander Nevsky is the figure with whom we go into the future. And when we see how we are offered a substitution of history, we must understand that agreeing to such a substitution is the first step towards losing sovereignty. I am sure that humanity is driven mainly by ideas, not by economics. And in our national idea, Alexander Nevsky occupies one of the key places. It should stay that way.

The invisible ship. Russia builds the first full-fledged stealth corvette “Mercury»

The newest corvette of the project 20386 “Mercury” may be the first of the Russian ships, completely built according to the concept of “stealth”. Previously, some elements of stealth technologies, including radio-absorbing coating, were used on Russian ships, but the concept of a low-visibility ship has not yet been fully implemented. АиФ.ги I understood the prospects of the first Russian stealth ship.

How to make a corvette “invisible”?

As part of the concept, the stealth superstructure of the corvette will have a special shape: they will minimize the number of protruding elements and cracks, as well as apply various radio-absorbing coatings, composite materials and special paints over the entire area of the hull. According to the designers, the 100-meter ship will reflect the radio signal like a small fishing boat.

Project 20386 “Mercury” corvette is a new generation ship based on Project 20385, a 2nd-rank multi-purpose corvette with guided missile weapons of the near and far sea zone, which was planned to be armed with Russian cruise missiles “Caliber” and hypersonic anti-ship missiles «Zircon & raquo;. The stealth ship will be implemented on the modular principle of weapons, it will be based on drones. The first ship of this project, called “Daring”, was laid down on October 28, 2016. The transfer to the fleet is scheduled for 2022.

Why do we need an invisible ship?

The purpose of invisible corvettes is to conduct combat operations against the sea enemy in the near and far sea zones, as well as artillery support for amphibious landings. The ship is charged with the protection of maritime communications and objects of maritime economic activity from the attacks of enemy air attack means by an anti-aircraft missile system. The ships of this project will be able to hit enemy vessels with cruise missiles, search for and destroy submarines, provide anti-aircraft defense with the help of an anti-aircraft missile system and provide artillery support during landing.

Currently, the hull of the first corvette of this series is completely completed, and the ship’s superstructures are being formed. Special tests of the effectiveness of Mercury’s stealth technology are planned to confirm its stealth characteristics.

Former commander of the small rocket ship Captain 3rd rank Bulat Azimzhanov he believes that the Project 20386 corvette can remain a unique testing ground until the technologies are honed here until they reach perfection.

“While this project raises quite a lot of questions, it has not yet selected the necessary propulsion system, the design of the radar system is also in doubt, it is not clear how the weapons systems will be placed there. When creating the first ship, corvettes of the “Mercury” type may face problems with the lack of necessary technologies, access to which is limited for Russian shipbuilders. To create it, you will need additional funds and time, ” the expert summed up.

The Leningrad region explained the decision to introduce a high-alert mode

The situation in the village of Kuzmolovo in the Leningrad region is not dangerous for residents. This was reported in the regional government.

Earlier in this locality, a high-alert mode was introduced due to the transfer of an object with a potential radiation hazard from one department to another.

The press service of the regional government noted that this decision is technical and related to the issues of privatization. As specified, we are talking about a warehouse of materials with a radioactive trace, previously owned by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise ” RSC “Applied Chemistry”, which was not included in the list of objects of privatization.

“By introducing a special regime, the Leningrad Region has raised the issue of determining the specialized user of the specified object before the Federal Property Management Agency,” the regional government said.

Earlier it was also reported that in several districts of the Irkutsk region, a state of emergency was introduced due to forest fires.

Russia may ban the use of scooters heavier than 35 kg on sidewalks

Vladimir Lugovenko, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in the field of automobile and Urban Passenger Transport of the Ministry of Transport, said that the agency proposes to ban the use of electric scooters heavier than 35 kg on sidewalks, the relevant amendments to the traffic regulations are being discussed with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, reports TASS.

According to Lugovenko, the innovation is the distribution of electric scooters by weight.

In addition, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation agree to equate people moving on roller skates and scooters without engines with pedestrians, previously this situation was repeatedly discussed when considering amendments to the traffic regulations.

“That is, we leave this norm as such and regulate only vehicles equipped with an engine,” Lugovenko stressed.

Earlier it was reported that the speed of electric scooters and gyroscuters in Russia can be limited to 20 km/h and introduce new road signs regulating the movement of such vehicles.
