Rosgvardiya Championship in shooting from combat hand-held small arms

The Championship of the Russian National Guard troops in shooting from combat hand-held small arms has started in the village of Kamolomnya, Saki district.

13 teams take part in the championship-more than 150 military personnel and employees of departments, formations and military units of the Southern District of the Russian Federal Guard. From June 8 to 10, servicemen and employees of the Russian National Guard will compete in shooting with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, Makarov pistol, sniper rifle and other weapons from different positions.

Shooting from combat hand-held small arms is one of the main profiling military-applied sports. Shooting skills are necessary for military personnel and employees of Rosgvardiya both to improve their sports results, and to perform high-quality service-combat and operational-service tasks.
