Roskomnadzor will check the Muz-TV award for violations of the law

Roskomnadzor intends to check the recording of the broadcast from the Muz-TV award for violations of the law in connection with the possible promotion of non-traditional relationships among minors, RIA Novosti reports.

The agency recalled that such information can only be distributed with the sign “18+” at night. 

If violations are detected, Roskomnadzor will take appropriate response measures.

It is noted that for the dissemination of information promoting non-traditional sexual relations among children, officials are provided with an administrative fine in the amount of 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles, legal entities face punishment in the form of a fine of 1 million rubles or administrative suspension of activities for up to 90 days.

Earlier it was reported that Roskomnadzor sent a letter to the Disney TV channel explaining the norms of the legislation of the Russian Federation due to the release of the cartoon Out (“Exit”), the character of which has a non-traditional sexual orientation.
