The Tagansky Court of Moscow issued on June 10 rulings on large fines for Facebook and Telegram, RIA Novosti reports.
The social network was ordered to pay 17 million rubles for non-removal of prohibited content for four episodes.
Messenger was fined 10 million rubles under four protocols for a similar offense.
In May, Facebook was fined 26 million rubles for posting illegal information, and Telegram was fined 5 million rubles. Twitter was also awarded a number of fines totaling 27.9 million rubles.
Recall that large foreign resources were previously also obliged to localize the databases of Russians, otherwise they will be subject to sanctions to restrict their activities.
