Plot Shooting at a school in Kazan
The accused of the mass murder in the Kazan school, Ilnaz Galyaviev, has been transferred to the Moscow pre-trial detention center, Butyrka, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the executive secretary of the ONK of Moscow, Alexey Melnikov.
He added that according to available data, we are talking about a psychiatric hospital, where he was sent after an examination.
Earlier, the newspaper ONK reported that the State Scientific Center for Social and Forensic Psychiatry named after V. P. Serbsky recognized Galyaviev as insane.
The Investigative Committee, in turn, explained that the investigation has no medical reports yet, a comprehensive inpatient psychological and psychiatric forensic examination in the framework of the investigation of this criminal case has not yet been completed.
The attack on Kazan school No. 175 occurred in May of this year. As a result of the emergency, nine people were killed: seven students of the 8th grade and two adults.
At the moment, Galyaviev is under arrest on a criminal case of the murder of two or more persons, if he is found sane, he may face life imprisonment.
