Ukrainian security forces shelled three settlements on the territory of the DPR in 15 minutes, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the representative office of the republic in the JCCC, the settlements of Kominternovo, Nova Laspa and Petrovskoye were shelled using grenade launchers.
It is also noted that 12 mines with a caliber of 120 millimeters, prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, were fired from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the Petrovskoye point.
Earlier it was also reported that as a result of artillery shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine, a civilian resident of Donetsk was injured.
The situation on the contact line in Donbass escalated on February 17. Last Friday, the authorities of the LPR and DPR announced the temporary evacuation of civilians to the territory of the Russian Federation in connection with the threat of an invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the independence of the LPR and the DPR. Also, agreements on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance were signed with the heads of the republics.
