The World Health Organization reported that Russia came in fourth place in the number of cases of infection with a new coronavirus, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the WHO, with 5,833,175 cases, the country was ahead of France in this indicator, where the number of cases of infection is 5,700,017 times.
It is noted that the US is the leader in the number of coronavirus infections-more than 33.5 million cases. This is followed by India (more than 30.9 million cases) and Brazil (more than 19 million cases).
Earlier, the representative of the World Health Organization, Christian Lindmeier, said that people should not make a decision about mixing different coronavirus vaccines without a doctor’s recommendation.
He said that clinical studies in this direction are still ongoing, scientists are trying to understand the interaction of AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines, as well as Moderna and Novovax.
