The Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev presented the new chief to the personnel of the OMVD of Russia on the federal territory of “SIRIUS”. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.
Police Colonel Alexander Kulikov became the new head. He has been working in the internal affairs bodies for almost 30 years, he started his career as an investigator.
Kolokoltsev noted that the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the federal territory “Sirius” is receiving increased attention from the central office of the department. The Minister stressed the importance of a careful analysis of the situation in the region and outlined key areas, including crime detection and law enforcement.
“Special attention should be paid to the organization of the work of the duty unit, ensuring timely response to incoming reports of crimes,” Kolokoltsev said.
Recall that at the end of last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the creation of SIRIUS. Andrey Stolyarov has been appointed acting head of the Territory. The Head of State also instructed the Government to work out the issue of the economic foundations of the activity of this territory.
