What is the world’s first bi-caliber sniper rifle created in Russia?

Russia has begun testing the world’s first sniper rifle designed to use Russian cartridges and ammunition of the NATO standard. The weapon is called the DXL-5 “Devastator”, the export version was named Havoc. To date, this project has reached the stage of manufacturing and testing a prototype. АиФ.ги I found out what features this weapon has.

Creation history

The developer of the rifle is the Russian arms company Lobaev Arms. Last year, gunsmiths announced that they were working on creating a sniper complex, which would include a rifle and a cartridge with increased characteristics of the range of accurate fire. Due to the pandemic, the development was delayed. At the end of October, the company published a short video with individual detailsan experienced rifle. On November 19, the experimental rifle was shown assembled for the first time. They also revealed the key features of the project and its new features. The tactical and technical characteristics of the product were not called. Currently, the rifle is ready for testing. The test will take place in several stages, which will allow you to consistently work out several variants of the weapon.

Feature

This is a long-barreled weapon of traditional layout with magazine ammunition and manual reloading. It is possible to install various sights and other equipment, for which there are slats. A folding stock with several degrees of adjustment, characteristic of the DXL series rifles, is also used. The main feature of the new rifle is modularity. In the “Devastator” there was an opportunity to replace the barrel with a sniper for two calibers: the NATO 50 BMG and the domestic 12.77″times;108. This is primarily done in order to increase the export prospects of weapons.

It is not known how the compatibility of the bolt group with different cartridges is ensured. Experts suggest that the possibility of using different calibers is provided by replacing literally a couple of key parts. However, the developer has not yet specified how quickly and simply such a replacement is carried out. Also, we should not forget that universalityit does not always justify itself. Combining different functions and capabilities in one sample can lead to specific disadvantages and problems. The DXL-5 rifle has so far been made in only one caliber and is undergoing its first tests. She has yet to show her efficiency and effectiveness in all the planned options.

Know-how

Another technological know-how introduced on the DXL-5 is a damping device on the butt, which significantly reduces the effect of the recoil of a rifle weighing 13 kg.

This sniper rifle will become a “laboratory” for testing new calibers. Four new calibers have been developed specifically for it, which will be tested in the near future. This will allow us to reach higher firing ranges for weapons of this class. Perhaps this is a future competitor of another rifle: the SVLK-14 “Twilight”. It is currently the longest-range rifle in the world. With the help of this weapon, Russian Andrey Ryabinsky set a world record by hitting a target at a distance of 4210 meters.

Purpose

It is assumed that snipers armed with a Devastator will have to perform one of the most difficult tasks in modern combat: the fight against enemy sniper units. The developer claims that the DXL-5 has a unique accuracy of 0.5 arc minutes for the 12.7 caliber, which means that the rifle shoots four times more accurately than its American competitor Barret (2 arc minutes). The aiming range is about 2300 meters. For comparison: Barret has 1800.

In Moscow, the police liquidated a financial pyramid

The capital’s law enforcement officers stopped the activities of a financial pyramid, whose participants fraudulently stole citizens’ money. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.

It was previously established that the attackers published an ad on the Internet and called potential customers, mostly pensioners. They presented themselves as employees of commercial organizations and offered citizens to invest in various areas. For example, pharmaceutical activities in the Novosibirsk region, fishing in Karelia, tourism business in the Crimea, etc. Investors were promised income from 12 to 21% monthly.

To those who signed the contract, the scammers paid interest for several months. But then they offered to increase the deposit amount on even more favorable terms.

“So, for example, one of the depositors succumbed to the beliefs of scammers and contributed a total of 80 million rubles,” Wolf noted.

In the future, the members of the criminal group stopped paying interest. No one returned the money to the defrauded depositors.

Nine members of an organized group were detained. The alleged organizer of the criminal scheme was arrested, the rest are under a recognizance not to leave and proper behavior. The offices and residential addresses of the defendants were searched. Law enforcement officers seized server equipment, computer equipment and various documents.

Earlier it was reported that the Central Bank began to identify financial pyramids operating on the principle of online investment games.

The expert spoke about the dangers of pyrotechnic products

Pyrotechnic products contain toxic substances that can cause various diseases. Professor, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Dmitry Mustafin told about the dangers of fireworks in a conversation with RT.

According to him, in order to make pyrotechnic products colorful and shiny, manufacturers add inorganic metal salts to them. These substances are quite strong toxicants and can cause cancer, Mustafin said. The scientist also said that the composition of fireworks may include compounds of mercury and antimony.

Launching pyrotechnic products in an enclosed space increases the risk of chemical poisoning, Mustafin noted. He added that any pyrotechnics does not bode well for the atmosphere, since a huge amount of carbon dioxide is emitted.

Earlier, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told about how to properly store pyrotechnics. For more information, see the material АиФ.ги.

Is it possible to return a live or artificial Christmas tree?

A live Christmas tree, fir and other Christmas trees of proper quality are included in the list of non-food products that are not subject to exchange and return. Back in January 1998, the Government of the Russian Federation issued Resolution No. 55, which defines a list of non-food products that are prohibited from being returned or exchanged. Under item 13, it lists animals and plants.

Is it possible to return a low-quality live Christmas tree?

The Law “On Consumer Protection” allows the return of goods that do not meet the declared quality. However, when buying a spruce, the problem is that often coniferous beauties are in a packed state or lie like a mountain on Christmas markets, it is not always possible to assess their real quality. Also, no one guarantees that instead of a fluffy Christmas tree, you will not bring home a crooked tree with short “bald” branches, which will crumble in a couple of hours.

Officially, there is no list of disadvantages for Christmas trees, so you can return a defective tree if you find significant defects that are visible to the naked eye.

On the basis of the law “On Consumer Protection”, the buyer can return the Christmas tree if it has:

  • very crooked trunk;
  • the disproportionality of the branches (for example, on the one hand they are too long, thick, and on the other hand they are short and liquid);
  • the faded color of the needles (this happens if the Christmas tree has been cut down for a long time and is already drying up).

To make a refund, you need to save the receipt: it will be proof that the spruce was bought legally, and not cut down in the forest. If the receipt has not been saved, you can present a bank statement on the withdrawal of funds for the purchase or demonstrate a photo or video of the purchase.

Where is it better to buy a live Christmas tree?

In Rospotrebnadzor, it is advised to purchase an invariable attribute of the New Year at official points of sale, at city Christmas markets or in forestry. Experts recommend choosing a felled tree with a smooth, thick enough trunk without cracks, with flexible branches. To make sure that the needles do not crumble, you should hit the tree trunk on the ground or shake the tree slightly.

Is it possible to return an artificial Christmas tree?

It is possible if there are any defects in it. For example, an artificial fir tree can be returned after it has been unpacked and dressed up, but it has been found out that its stand is broken. In this case, we are talking about a product of inadequate quality.

According to Article 21 of the law “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”, if the buyer found defects and demanded to replace the goods, the seller is obliged to do so within seven days from the date of the application for exchange. And if additional quality control is necessary, within 20 days from the date of submission of the claim.

If the warranty period for the product is not set, the buyer will have to prove the presence of a manufacturing defect, including conducting an examination at his own expense. But if the presence of a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the seller is obliged to reimburse these costs together with compensation for the purchase price.

Is it possible to replace an artificial spruce if there are no defects in it?

A refund is also possible if the artificial spruce did not fit in shape, dimensions, style, color, size or configuration. The refund in this case is provided for by Article 18 of the Law “On Consumer Protection”.

By law , the seller can be required to:

  • replace the spruce with another, similar or similar;
  • eliminate existing shortcomings free of charge;
  • reduce the cost of the Christmas tree;
  • reimburse the costs associated with the elimination of defects of the Christmas tree;
  • return previously paid funds.

You can exchange an artificial spruce or refund the money for the purchase within 14 days if the spruce was not used, i.e. the packaging and equipment remained intact, factory labels, labels, seals, etc. are preserved.

How can I make a refund?

To make a refund, you must contact the store with a written claim. As a rule, there are such forms at the point of sale. If there are none, then the application for a refund can be written in free form in two copies (one, with a note on the acceptance of the claim, remains with the buyer). The application must specify a specific requirement: a refund or an exchange of goods. If the seller refuses to replace the goods or refund the money, the buyer should file a claim with the court.

If the court refuses to satisfy the requirements, the complaint can be filed with the court of the next instance, which may agree with the requirements. After that, the Federal Bailiff Service will help to return the money. If the court’s decision was not executed voluntarily by the defendant, enforcement proceedings will be initiated and measures taken to enforce the court’s decision.

Is it possible to return an artificial Christmas tree purchased remotely?

Remote sales are regulated on the basis of Article 26.1 of the RF ZoZPP. According to this article, the consumer has the right to refuse the goods at any time before its transfer, and after the transfer of the goods within seven days. Upon return, the seller is obliged to return the money for the artificial spruce within ten days, except for transportation costs.

How is the inheritance divided between heirs? Infographics

The owner independently determines the fate of the property belonging to him and disposes of it at his discretion. According to Article 1111 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, inheritance occurs on two grounds: by will and by law.

Regardless of whether the deceased left a will or not, some of his property should be received by some of the closest relatives of the deceased’s minor children, including adopted ones.The size of the mandatory share of their inheritance is not less than the “frac12” share that would be due to them when inheriting by law. The inheritance will be allocated even if the minor is excluded from the number of heirs in the will. Independently, children under the age of 18 are not entitled to open an inheritance case. The application on their behalf is submitted by parents or guardians.

Since May 2018, an online service of inheritance cases has appeared on the official website of the Federal Notary Chamber, which allows you to find out which notary has opened an inheritance case. To do this, you need to enter the testator’s full name in the form and, if known, the date of birth and death.

Both relatives of the deceased and other persons specified in the will can count on the inheritance. If a person has not left it or has not drawn up an inheritance contract, the inheritance is distributed according to the law, that is, in turn according to the degree of kinship.The first applicants are the closest relatives: children, parents, spouse or spouse. They are called heirs of the first stage.If they do not exist or they have not declared their inheritance rights (they have written a waiver of it), then the property inherits the second turn, etc. There are eight queues of heirs in total.

See in the infographic АиФ.ги how the inheritance is divided between heirs.

Who are the Infocygans?

TV presenter and bloggerKsenia Sobchakon Youtube, she released a film “How Infocygans sell air: we analyze sales schemes and their courses”. In it, she exposes and criticizes “infocygans”, telling how people with low incomes spend their last money on marathons of stars and bloggers.

Who did Sobchak call infotsygans?

The TV presenter called infocygans popular stars and bloggers who sell marathons of no practical value for self-development and earnings. According to Sobchak, the authors of useless courses and marathons usually promote their activities in social networks, in particular, on Instagram.

“They breed and multiply every day. They feed subscribers with photos of supposedly luxurious life and muddy quotes. And they are actively selling nothing,” Sobchak said.

Sobchak mentioned the training “dummy courses” of TV presenters Victoria Boni and Regina Todorenko, makeup artist Gohar Avetisyan, bloggers Mila Levchuk, Maria Kapshukova, Katya Petersil, Huseyn Hasanova, Elena Blinovskaya, Oksana Samoilova

The public organization “Federal National and Cultural Autonomy of Russian Gypsies” (FNKA) reacted negatively to the use of such a term. In an interview with the publication «View» the head of the organizationNadezhda Demetersaid that Sobchak made a big mistake when she supported the spread of a term insulting an entire nation.

Who are usually called Infocygans?

Information Gypsies are the creators of trainings, webinars, master classes, etc., offering training materials that have no real value. Such people, as a rule, have a superficial knowledge of the subject/topic, and their judgments are often based on well-known truths and facts.

The term “infocyganism” itself appeared relatively recently. But, as told by MK social psychologist Anna Gvozdeva the idea of infocyganism, if we consider it as a promise to a person of a better life with a minimum of effort and a guaranteed result, is as old as the world.

“In various forms, such manipulations have occurred in different, especially unstable, historical periods. There is no need to go far for examples: less than 30 years ago, the whole country charged water through the TV,” Gvozdeva said.

Information Gypsies usually advertise their products on the Internet. Using loud phrases, they promise to earn more money quickly and easily, be loved, lose weight, get prettier, improve their health, etc. But not for free, but for money.The danger of such entrepreneurs is that they force customers to waste time and money. Moreover, posing as experts, information Gypsies can give the audience information that does not correspond to reality.

How can I recognize infocygans?

Information Gypsies are always very confident and have extensive experience in public speaking, which helps them look convincing and professional in front of an audience. By creating their own groups, communities, clubs, etc., scammers are trying to convince the client that they are selling really successful courses.

It is possible to distinguish information gypsies from real business coaches by several signs:

  • information gypsies put pressure on emotions and promise to solve problems in the absence of real skills for this;
  • they use vague formulations in their speeches;
  • do not have a professional education, indicate links to courses with pseudo-experts;
  • speak with intonations, accents and pauses, actively gesticulate;
  • they use loud statements, for example, after a seven-day course you will have a husband/apartment/you will start earning $ 1,000 per hour, etc.;
  • provide a lot of laudatory reviews about themselves;
  • do not want to conclude contracts or prescribe in them that the money for the product is not returned to the participants.
