A fighter of the People’s Militia of the LPR was killed as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), RIA Novosti reports.
As specified in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC), the APU fired small arms in the direction of the urban-type settlement of Kalinovo.
It is noted that this was the only shelling recorded on September 26 by the Ukrainian security forces.
At the same time, the day before, according to the representative of the defense department of the LPR, Ivan Filiponenko, the LPR military managed to shoot down an unmanned aerial vehicle that the Ukrainian security forces sent for reconnaissance purposes towards the urban-type settlement of Kalinovo.
“These facts once again confirm Kiev’s unwillingness to fulfill its obligations and intentions to destabilize the situation in the conflict zone,” Filiponenko stressed.
Meanwhile, in the DPR, after injuring three people during the shelling of Donetsk, a criminal case was opened on a terrorist attack against the commander of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his subordinates.
