Governor of Samara region Dmitry Azarov He thanked the residents of the region for their willingness to provide assistance to internally displaced persons from the DPR and LPR.
“Now we are simply obliged to help people who find themselves in a difficult life situation. Residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, faced with clear manifestations of aggression, saving their lives and the lives of their loved ones, women, children, old people are leaving their homes, their native land today in order to simply save their lives. I think it is the sacred duty of every normal citizen, every normal person to help them. Samara region more than onceshe responded to emergencies, we came to the aid not only of our compatriots, but also of citizens of other countries who found themselves in a difficult life situation. And in the current situation, we certainly will not leave people in the lurch. Samara region was one of the first to announce its readiness to accept migrants. I am sure that together with the residents of the region we will create all conditions to help the people who have come to us,” said the Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov.
Recall that the region has already sent a cargo of humanitarian aid to the DPR and LPR. The Samara region is ready to receive 1,000 internally displaced persons on its territory, whose arrival is expected in the very near future. Residents of the region readily responded to the call of the head of the region, many offer their help in accommodating internally displaced persons.
