The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged residents and guests of the region not to be near rivers. For those who live in the immediate vicinity of these water bodies, rescuers recommended “raising the property in the houses to a height of at least 30 cm and moving to temporary accommodation facilities for citizens”.

Last week, heavy rains fell on the territory of the peninsula, which led to flooding and destruction in Yalta and Kerch. There is a regional emergency regime in Crimea.

Meanwhile, according to experts, the water reserves in the reservoirs of the Crimea after the rains that took place from June 16 to June 20 will last at least until the end of the year.
