Plot Criminal case against the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergey Furgal
The Basmanny court of the capital extended to 12 months from the moment of detention the term of arrest of the ex-head of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergey Furgal, accused of organizing the murders of businessmen. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the court.
According to the court, Furgal’s arrest will last until July 7.
Recall that the former governor was detained on July 9, 2020. He is charged with three counts of murder, attempted murder and illegal possession of a weapon.
Furgal’s defense requires a trial of his case in Khabarovsk with the participation of jurors. The defendant himself does not admit guilt.
