Google was fined four million rubles

The magistrate of the judicial district of the Tagansky district of Moscow today fined Google another four million rubles for not removing prohibited content, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the press service of the Moscow City Court.

Google LLC was found guilty under part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code.

The protocol was the first of five new ones. Four of them are related to the non-removal of prohibited content (part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation), one is related to the non-removal of information or an Internet page containing calls for extremist activity (part 4 of the same article).

In May, Google was fined six million rubles for three similar protocols. Another 3.5 million rubles were collected from the company for repeated refusal to stop issuing links containing information about resources whose access is restricted on the territory of the Russian Federation (part 2 of Article 13.40 of the Administrative Code) at the request of users.

In July, Google was fined for the first time for refusing to localize the personal data of Russians, according to part 8 of Article 13.11 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, three million rubles were collected from the company.
