Hurricanes in Russia

In Russia, on August 2, a hurricane hit several regions at once. The Tver Region suffered the most: more than 15 people were injured, at least 3 people were killed. The wind with gusts of up to 25 meters per second damaged the roofs of houses and felled dozens of trees, about 100 settlements were left without electricity. Restoration work is currently underway in the disaster zone. The thunderstorm front also passed through the territory of the Stavropol Territory, Bryansk, Kursk and Moscow regions.
