The annual precipitation rate has fallen over the past 24 hours in Anapa and Temryuk, the head of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev said, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Kondratiev, in Anapa and Temryuk, “big water” began to actively mobilize and turn into a surge wave.
In Anapa, more than 450 people were evacuated from the territories flooded as a result of heavy rains on Saturday.
Recall that due to difficult weather conditions, an emergency mode is in effect in 14 municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory. The rains that have been falling since the evening of August 12 have caused power outages for 29 thousand residents of Kuban. Almost a thousand people were evacuated from four children’s camps amid flooding.
The Sochi authorities have organized round-the-clock monitoring of the water level in the rivers and prepared for the possible evacuation of citizens.
Earlier, the Hydrometeorological Center warned of thunderstorms from Saturday to Monday in the Krasnodar Territory and other regions of Russia.
