The launch of the Atlas V launch vehicle with a communications satellite of the United States Space Forces has been postponed to December 7, the website of the United Launch Alliance (ULA) American consortium reports.

It is noted that the decision is related to the need for additional checks.

The Atlas V rocket is to launch the STPSat-6 military satellite into orbit, on which infrared lasers are installed.Initially, the launch was scheduled for December 5. Later, it was postponed to Monday, December 6, due to a fuel leak in the ground storage.

ULA explained that the problems have been fixed, but specialists need time to make sure that the fuel sample is clean before starting operations to refuel the rocket.

Now the launch is scheduled for Tuesday, December 7. It is reported that it will be carried out from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral (Florida)at 04:04, US East Coast time (12:04 Moscow time).
