From June 23, Russian Instagram users will have access to a new feature – creating and viewing short videos in a special Reels tab, the social network said in a statement.
Also, from Wednesday, Russians will be able to add music to Stories and a Facebook profile.
With the new service, you can fill in and edit videos with a duration of up to 20 seconds, and apply effects to them. Videos can be published in the Stories or post format. To add music to Stories, open the camera in the app, mark a photo or video from the gallery, and select the “Music” sticker.
Note that in the US, the Reels tab on Instagram appeared last fall.
We add that Facebook has launched an analog of the Clubhouse platform, in which there are no text messages, and communication is based on voice communication.
