Readiness — 90%. Sinking works at the BCL will be completed by the end of 2021

The Great ring line of the Moscow metro will become a world record holder among the “metrocycles” for the length of 70 kilometers. Now the next sections are being prepared for the opening.

About the features of new stations and modern technologies in the construction of the metro in an interview АиФ.ги told Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of the engineering holding “Mosinzhproekt” – general designer and general contractor for the construction of new lines and stations of the Moscow metro.

— & nbsp;Technical launches of new sections of the Big Ring Line have recently taken place. Which stations will open their doors to passengers in the near future?

— In September, we conducted technical inspections of three sections & mdash; in the west, south-west and south of the Big Ring. In total, the segment of the BCL from Mnevnikov to Kakhovskaya was tested. A total of nine new stations will be opened by the end of the year — «Terekhovo», «Kuntsevskaya», «Davydkovo», «Aminevskaya», «Michurinsky Prospekt», «Vernadsky Avenue», «Innovative», «Vorontsovskaya»;, « Zyuzino». And the tenth will be the reconstructed Kakhovskaya.

& mdash; How can we assess the readiness of the BCL as a whole now?

& mdash; If we talk about general construction readiness, it is approaching 90%. We plan to complete all the tunneling work by the end of this year. Let me remind you that a total of 31 stations will be opened on the bolshoy ring, 12 of them are currently operating. With the opening of new sections, 22 stations will already receive passengers.

— & nbsp; How will the new metro sections affect the transport system of Moscow?

— The opening of only one western section of the BCL will allow residents of five Moscow districts — this is 700 thousand people & mdash; to reduce the travel time to work by about 40%, and tens of thousands of citizens will have a metro within walking distance for the first time. In addition, the workload of existing stations will be significantly reduced. The significance of the new metro line for the city is evidenced at least by the fact that the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, personally supervised all three technical launches.

& mdash; & nbsp; What difficulties did you encounter during construction?

New sections are being built in areas with dense buildings, near major transport highways and existing metro lines. The work is often carried out in cramped conditions, we have to face a lot of engineering and technological tasks, but we manage to solve them all quickly.

& mdash; & nbsp; Due to what it was possible to achieve a high speed of introduction of new stations?

& mdash; Huge human resources are involved in the construction site. Only 11 out of 15 thousand BCL builders are working on the sites that are being prepared for launch this year. And in total, more than 21 thousand people work on the construction of the Moscow metro facilities. With the help of the implementation of the project management methodology, we managed to ensure that this huge mechanism worked like a clock.

& mdash; & nbsp; How do digital technologies help in the construction of BCL?

“Mosinzhproekt” holding actively uses information modeling (BIM) technologies. For example, they allow you to quickly determine the specifications of the necessary equipment and the exact amount of materials. All this significantly reduces the time for creating new objects.

The Moscow Metro is also a unique architectural structure. What will surprise the new stations in this regard?

— We observe the traditions of Moscow metro builders — all new stations have a unique design. For example, the architectural appearance of the station “Michurinsky Prospekt” uses Chinese motifs, and the station “Davydkovo” is dedicated to the work of Russian rescuers. However, very soon passengers will be able to see and evaluate everything for themselves.
