In the coming week, cyclone Roxana will bring March warmth to Central Russia, said Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos Weather Center.
According to him, the average daily air temperature will be 7-9 degrees above the long-term norm, RIA Novosti reports.
In the afternoon, it is expected from minus 2 to plus 3. This temperature corresponds to the climatic indicators of mid-March.
In addition, almost every day there will be precipitation in the form of snow, sleet, light rain is possible in places.
In the next five days, up to 9-10 millimeters of precipitation may fall in the Central part of the country, which is one-fourth of the total February volume of moisture, the forecaster added.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand told when in Russia one can expect the arrival of the climatic spring, which, as a rule, does not come on March 1, but much later.
