Fulfilling Russia’s demands to limit the expansion of NATO will make it impossible for Sweden to cooperate with the alliance.
This was stated by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Mikael Buden, in an interview with Swedish radio.
According to him, if the Russian demands are implemented, everything will look very gloomy for the defense of Sweden, since the country risks being without support in the event of a possible attack.
Buden also noted that the country’s cooperation with the North Atlantic Alliance will be significantly complicated.
Earlier, French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen also said that the country would withdraw from NATO if it won the presidential election.
