The court granted the petition for parole of the photographer Loshagin who killed his wife

The Chkalovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg has granted the petition of Dmitry Loshagin, a photographer convicted of murdering his model wife, for parole, the Russian newspaper reports.

The press secretary of the Sverdlovsk Regional Prosecutor’s office, Marina Kanatova, said that the representative of the prosecutor’s office at the court session was against satisfying the petition, since the convict did not admit guilt and did not apologize to the family of the deceased.

According to the earlier verdict, he had to serve his sentence for another two years and four months.

Recall that in the criminal case of the murder of model Yulia Prokopyeva, the accused was the husband of the deceased, a well-known fashion photographer in the Urals Dmitry Loshagin, who, according to investigators, killed his wife during a drunken quarrel, took her out of town and attempted to burn the body. In 2015, the court sentenced the photographer to 9 years and 10 months in prison.
