The Ministry of Defense has launched a section of the website dedicated to the ko parade Navy Day

A new multimedia section dedicated to the upcoming fifth Main Naval Parade was opened on the website of the Ministry of Defense on the eve of the Navy Day, the press service of the department reports.

This project will allow visitors of the website to get acquainted with the idea of holding and features of the parade, which will be held in St. Petersburg on July 25, as well as with the schemes of building ships and features of the air component of the solemn event.

It is known that this year more than 50 ships, boats and submarines will be involved in the parade. Among them are the missile cruiser “Marshal Ustinov”, the frigate “Admiral of the fleet Kasatonov”, the corvettes “Gremyashchy” and “Stoyky”, as well as the missile submarine “Prince Vladimir”, which will take part in the solemn event for the first time. The historical part of the parade will be headed by the battleship “Poltava”, recreated at the historical shipyard.

In addition, the event will involve ships of the Navies of India, Pakistan and Iran. More than 40 pieces of aviation equipment will fly over the city on the Day of the Navy.

The new section of the site also provides information about the holding of naval parades in Severomorsk, Baltiysk, Sevastopol, Kaspiysk and Vladivostok on July 25.

Earlier it was reported that by the end of this year, the Baltic Fleet will be replenished with two more small missile ships. According to sources in the defense department, it will include the ships “Storm” of the project 22800 “Karakurt” and “Grad” of the project 21631 “Buyan-M”.
