The Ministry of Education is ready to consider alternatives to the Unified State Exam

The head of the Ministry of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov on the sidelines of the SPIEF said that the ministry is ready to consider alternative USE mechanisms for assessing the knowledge of schoolchildren, TASS reports.

Kravtsov noted that if another mechanism for assessing students ‘ knowledge, objective and independent, is proposed, it will be considered. At the same time, the minister noted that the ministry has no plans to replace the Unified State Exam at the moment.

Earlier, the Minister of Education informed about the progress of the Unified State Exam. According to Sergey Kravtsov, the exam was held in compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor. Prior to this, it was reported that students taking the Unified State Exam will not need a coronavirus test or a certificate of vaccination.
