The highest position in the QS rating among Russian universities was once again taken by Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). It is the fifth time that it is included in the top 100 of the world list of the best universities. In the updated rating, he took 78th place, scoring 65.6 points out of a possible 100.

- National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) – 305th place, 34.1 points;
- Peoples ‘ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN)-317th place, 33.4 points;
- National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) – 319th place, 33.1 points;

Which universities have become the best in the world?

The third and fourth positions with 98.7 points were shared by Stanford University in the USA and Cambridge University (Great Britain). The global university ranking is compiled annually by the global research and consulting center QS Quacquarelli Symonds. Its specialists evaluate universities according to six criteria:

- Reputation among employers-employer reviews of which universities their most professional and effective employees graduated from;
- Citation index-the ratio of the number of citations for all scientific works of the university over a five-year period to the number of teaching staff;
