Plot Investigation of the Boeing crash in eastern Ukraine

Records of telephone conversations of the DPR militia that the Malaysian Boeing was shot down by a military plane were presented during a hearing at the Schiphol court complex on Thursday, TASS reports.

The meeting heard recordings of negotiations in which it is said that the Su plane shot down a Boeing, after which the Buk, which is in the possession of the militia, shot down a military airliner.

Judge Dagmar Koster said that the witness in the case, a former commander of one of the air defense units of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Vladimir Tsemakh, said that he did not see the Buk air defense system during the conflict in the east of Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.

In addition, the judge added that during the conflict in eastern Ukraine, the witness had never seen a missile system, including in Snizhne.

Tsemakh is the only available witness directly involved in the fighting in the location of interest.

In the Netherlands, on June 7, the hearings on the MH17 crash began, where the data of the prosecutor’s office of the kingdom and general issues on the merits are considered.

Recall that the Malaysian Boeing 777 was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur and crashed on July 17, 2014 in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. As a result of the plane crash, 298 people were killed.

In May 2018, investigators said that the Boeing was allegedly shot down with the help of a Russian air defense system “Buk”. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly stated that Moscow categorically rejects the accusations of involvement in the crash of the plane.

Meanwhile, the investigation believes that three Russians and one Ukrainian were involved in the incident. In February 2020, the Dutch Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against them.
