Fighters and bombers of the aviation of Belarus and the Russian Federation conducted another joint patrol of the air borders of the Union State, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reports in Telegram.
It was carried out by Tu-22M3 strategic bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces accompanied by a mixed tactical group of multifunctional SU-30SM fighters of Belarus and Russia.
Prior to that, the Belarusian Ministry reported on the increase in the composition of the air defense forces on duty and joint patrolling of the state border in the airspace by the Air Force and air Defense forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus and the Russian Aerospace Forces. The reason was the frequent cases of flights of various types of aviation near the Belarusian border.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the Union State in 2022 will live in an unfriendly environment.
The Kremlin also told when a new meeting between Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will take place. It is planned to be held before the end of the year.
