What is known about the new rocket?
Not much is known about the new rocket yet. It is reported that the X-UAV has become a further development of the line of guided munitions from the anti-tank guided missile system “Kornet-D”.
The missile will be part of the armament complex of attack drones and the Ka-52M helicopter. Earlier, dozens of successful tests of the new rocket were carried out with the prototype Ka-52M. Its launches were also carried out from the drones “Pacer”, “Outpost” and “Altius”.
X-UAV has a range of up to 10 kilometers. It can effectively hit both heavily armored vehicles and low-flying low-speed air targets.
The rocket can be guided not only in a laser beam, but also in thermal and television modes.
