In the TV center “Ostankino” passes farewell to the TV journalist, the general director of OTR Anatoly Lysenko, reports RIA Novosti.
He died on June 20 at the age of 84 after a long illness.
The ceremony takes place in the 4th studio of the TV center. His colleagues and fans came to say goodbye to the journalist.
Also, the farewell was attended by the general director of the First Channel Konstantin Ernst, who called Lysenko the smartest person on television, who was sensitive to people.
“It is symbolic that now we are saying goodbye to Anatoly Grigorievich in the “four” (the 4th studio of the TV center), from where, in general, the new television began. From here came the “View”, which he directed and which he invented. I have made so many programs in my life, discovered so many people, and given so many opportunities to realize themselves… He was the father of modern Russian television, ” Ernst said, expressing his condolences to the journalist’s family.
He also admitted that he had not met much with Lysenko recently, but often spoke with him on the phone. “I understand, Anatoly Grigoryevich, that I will not be able to call you again, but I will continue to talk to you,” Ernst added.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences over the death of the journalist. About what kind of person Anatoly Lysenko was, his colleagues told him.
The journalist will be buried today at the Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
