Peskov: there will be no shortage of coronavirus vaccines in Russia

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the country will not have a shortage of vaccines against coronavirus, reports TASS.

The Kremlin representative noted that a possible shortage of coronavirus vaccines in the regions may be associated with an increase in demand for vaccinations.

“Now, thanks to the increased awareness of citizens due to the next wave of coronavirus – quite strong and very dangerous due to the fact that information and explanatory work has been activated, the number of people who want to be vaccinated has significantly increased,” he added.

Earlier, the director of the Gamalei Research Center, Alexander Ginzburg, said that memory cells that are formed after vaccination can not completely protect a person from infection with the Indian strain of coronavirus, but it is possible to maintain a high level of antibodies by repeated vaccination with the V Satellite, and then six months later by revaccination with the Light Satellite.
