The Amur Tiger Center reported that an Amur tiger cub was rescued in Primorye, having fallen into a trap with its paw, RIA Novosti reports.
“A message about a tiger cub trapped in a forest area came from a local resident. The specialists who arrived at the scene immobilized the young predator and freed him from the trap. He got into the trap with the claw of his front right paw. The age of the beast is three to four months, the weight is about 20-25 kilograms, the female”, ” the message says.
It is noted that the animal was examined. He was not found to have serious injuries, so rescuers decided to leave him in nature.
Earlier it was reported that in the Chernihiv region a tiger attacked a zoo employee. The man died at the scene before the arrival of doctors. It is specified that the employee was going to feed the animal.
