The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, said that ice is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region on Monday morning, RIA Novosti reports.
“Residents of Moscow and the region need to be vigilant and attentive in the morning in the adjacent territories. The moisture that has fallen out will freeze and be slippery,” he said.
The forecaster added that the temperature in the morning will be about zero, precipitation is not expected.
“It will be cloudy with clarifications and sunny. The weather change is due to the fact that an anticyclone is moving from the west, and Moscow will be under the influence of northern winds. Night temperatures are 1-3 degrees, 2-3 degrees in the afternoon,” he summed up.
Earlier, Vilfand said that in the center of the European part of Russia, questions about changing tires are appropriate at the end of November, in October they are not relevant yet. If the temperature is stable below +5 degrees, then it is necessary to change the rubber.
