Cloudy weather and light rain are expected in Moscow on Sunday, August 1, the website of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation reports.
According to forecasters, during the day the air temperature in the capital will be from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius. On Sunday night, it may drop to 16 degrees.
The wind is south-westerly in places with gusts up to 17 meters per second. The atmospheric pressure will be 745 millimeters of mercury.
On the territory of the Moscow region, it is expected from 26 to 29 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. At night, the thermometer columns in the region will drop to plus 16 degrees.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand also warned that in early August, an abnormal heat wave will come to some regions of Russia.
