Power engineers will work in high alert mode due to bad weather

Specialists from the Central, Northwestern and Ural Federal Districts have been placed on high alert due to the worsening weather. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchak in a video message published in Telegram.

He said that massive power supply restrictions occurred in the Leningrad, Novgorod and Pskov regions due to bad weather. Grabchak clarified that more than 6 thousand people remain without electricity. 

Earlier it was reported that a hurricane wind in Moscow tore a prong from the Kremlin wall. The Moscow Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations warns that the wind with gusts up to 20 m/s will remain until Friday evening.
