Roskomnadzor restricted access to Sobchak’s interview with Makarevich

Roskomnadzor has included Ksenia Sobchak’s interview with musician Andrey Makarevich posted on YouTube in the register of prohibited information due to drug propaganda, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the press service of the department.

Earlier, Sobchak said in her Telegram channel that her 2019 interview with Makarevich “About letters to Putin, fees for Cars and LSD” was blocked in the Russian Federation.

Roskomnadzor explained that access to the video was restricted at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, since the video contains propaganda of narcotic drugs. They clarified that the link to the material was entered in the Unified Register of Prohibited Information.

The ministry recalled the sanctions that are provided for violating the procedure for removing prohibited materials related to drug propaganda. Citizens face the imposition of an administrative fine from 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles, legal entities-from three to eight million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the court did not consider the case against Duda about drug propaganda.According to the court decision, the protocol on an administrative offense was returned to the police.
