The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that over the past week, 24 foreign aircraft conducted reconnaissance near the Russian borders, writes Krasnaya Zvezda.
It is noted that foreign reconnaissance aircraft were accompanied by Russian radar stations. There were also two lifts of fighters from the air defense forces on duty.
It is emphasized that there were no violations of the airspace of the Russian Federation.
Recall that since December 1, 2019, the first over-the-horizon radar “Container” has been on combat duty in Mordovia. The container can detect any aircraft, cruise missiles and even hypersonic vehicles.
