The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, said that the temperature in the center of European Russia will begin to decrease on Monday from the second half of the day, RIA Novosti reports.
“The period of extreme weather, according to the calculations of Roshydromet, ends before noon on June 28. The morning can also be very warm. The air circulation in the atmosphere changes significantly… The temperature background is completely different, ” he said.
The forecaster noted that on Tuesday it will be 24-26 degrees in Moscow, night temperatures will drop from 25 to 15 degrees on Wednesday night.
Short-term, sometimes heavy precipitation, as well as wind up to 20 meters per second are forecast for most of the capital region.
He added that on Thursday and Friday, the temperature will start to rise again-up to 27 degrees so far.
According to the forecast of weather forecasters, in the Volga region and the Urals, the thermometer columns will rise by seven to eight degrees above normal at the beginning of next month, and in Yakutia by four to six degrees. Meanwhile, the cool weather will remain in the west of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the temperature will be one degree below normal.
