The Russian service robot has started working in the showroom of the Modern Alliance Store, a supplier of security equipment in Tashkent.
As explained in the press service of Promobot LLC, the duties of an electronic security guard include patrolling, video surveillance of employees and visitors of the store. The robot will also answer questions about the company’s activities ;it can communicate in Russian and English.
Obstacle sensors help the cyber worker to move freely and patrol objects.
According to Oleg Kivokurtsev, the director of Development of Promobot LLC, using the robot as a security guard will help to avoid the mistakes of the human factor. Such an employee does not get tired, does not be rude to visitors and does not forget to measure their temperature at the entrance.
In the future, the Russian robot is planned to be made part of the security system at train stations, shopping centers and other public places in Uzbekistan.
Earlier it was reported that in the gymnasium of the Yamalo-Nenets city of Labytnangi, a Russian robot created by the company “Promobot”will teach several disciplines.
In May, a Russian robot started working in a children’s park in the German city of Florstadt. This is the first robot guide in Germany.
