Oleg Lavkin, a resident of the Altai Territory, who is accused of kidnapping a 12-year-old schoolgirl, is charged with two more episodes of crimes against sexual integrity against two girls, TASS reports, referring to the regional Investigative Department of the TFR.
It is reported that today the person involved was taken to Biysk, where the investigator is interrogating him as an accused. He admits his guilt. The investigation also charges him with a number of crimes against sexual integrity against two underage girls committed earlier.
According to RIA Novosti with reference to the regional central committee of the TFR, Lavkin was arrested at the request of the investigator. During the preliminary investigation, he will be in a pre-trial detention center.
40-year-old Lavkin, who lives in the Biysk district, is charged with kidnapping a child under the threat of “violence dangerous to life and health”.
On July 31, a 12-year-old girl left her home in Biysk on a bicycle, where her family lives in the summer, and did not return. Personal belongings and a mobile phone of a schoolgirl were found on the bank of the Biya River. The search began, and on the night of August 2, she came home on her own. It turned out that she was being held in the basement of the house by a 40-year-old local resident.
Later it turned out that he had previously been convicted under the article on the illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs. He was watching the girl, and on the day of the abduction, he saw her riding a bicycle along a country road. According to the investigation, Lavkin pushed the schoolgirl, tied her hands and feet and put a bag on her. In the trailer of a self-propelled vehicle, the man took the girl to the basement of the house.
According to a TASS source in law enforcement agencies, he committed sexual acts against a child.
Lavkin disappeared from the investigation and was put on the federal wanted list. Subsequently, he was detained. As RIA Novosti clarifies, he probably let the girl go, being afraid of large-scale searches, in which more than 200 people participated.
