The Russian ships were sent to the place where the Ukrainian fishing vessel “OD-2592” is in distress. This was reported by the National Center for Defense Management of the Russian Federation, reports TASS.
It is noted that on July 3, at 01: 27, the ship’s captain informed about the engine failure via an international communication channel. The ship in distress is de-energized and is drifting in the Black Sea.
The distress signal was received by the missile boat “Ivanovets” of the Black Sea Fleet. He, as well as the border ship “Faultless” PS of the FSB of Russia, are now at the place of emergency in readiness to provide assistance.
It is added that the national defense control Center has transmitted information about the accident to the Ukrainian side. It is known that there are four people on the ship “OD-2592”.
